Sigma Player for Harmattan version 0.0.1 approved on Nokia (Ovi) Store

Are you missing a music player featuring 10bands equalizer? With Sigma Player you miss it no more! From today it's available here on Nokia Store. For feature and bug request, pls check this post or send me an email.

Actually, there is a QtMobility bug which won't let you play files which file name includes characters like accents and so on, so pls if you have trouble with that it's not something I can deal. If you care about this issue, you can find its bug report here.

• Album Tracks are not sorted by file name. Fixed in 0.0.4
• Album art image scaling in Player Page is not smooth. Fixed in 0.0.4

• Added filtering music collection by folders. Only folders in /home/user/MyDocs/Music (or any subfolder) will be discovered.
•  Added "plasma" theme, with blue as theme colour and a different main page. Added relative option to switch theme.
• Playlists can be created and deleted inside the application. They are just m3u files which will be put inside Music folder. To add music to a playlist you have two choices: long tap on a track in "All tracks" page and pick "Add to m3u Playlist, than select the playlist. Or you may tap on menu icon in the player page, and select "Add these tracks to m3u playlist".
• Application can play files having unicode characters in the name.
• Added resource policies support for the player: volume can be changed from everywhere (even when screen is locked) when playing, playback auto resumes after a call/sms from the same position before getting interrupted.
• Added orientations support for all pages, except Main Page for SigmaPlayer theme.
• Album arts retrieving for ArtistsPage is improved
• Added option not to flip playlist when song changes
• Added option not to play haptic (vibration) effect
• Added an inactive layer which is shown when application is in background/thumbnail, added a relative option to enable/disable it.
• Albums e Artists pages are redesigned: they both have two tabs, one will keep having the PathView, while the other one has a ListView with a FastScroll.

Sneak preview: Sigma Player for Harmattan!

A little "candy" for N9(50) owners, some screenshots of a Qt/QML written music player. It is similar to the stock one, has a 10bands equalizer (for the pleasure of your ears!) and some nice animations.

About InternetradioPlayer Harmattan 0.0.7

Someone noted the 0.0.7 changelog of InternetRadioPlayer for harmattan and asked me where to download it: that version is currently in Ovi Store QA process, just a bit of patience and it will be available to download.

Version 0.0.7 includes 10-bands equalizer and favourites list management as main changes.
