- Added filtering music collection by folders. Only folders in /home/user/MyDocs/Music (or any subfolder) will be discovered.

- Playlists can be created and deleted inside the application. They are just m3u files which will be put inside Music folder. To add music to a playlist you have two choices: long tap on a track in "All tracks" page and pick "Add to m3u Playlist, than select the playlist. Or you may tap on menu icon in the player page, and select "Add these tracks to m3u playlist".
- Application can play files having unicode characters in the name.
- Added resource policies support for the player: volume can be changed from everywhere (even when screen is locked) when playing, playback auto resumes after a call/sms from the same position before getting interrupted.
- Added orientations support for all pages, except Main Page for SigmaPlayer theme.
- Album arts retrieving for ArtistsPage is improved
- Added option not to flip playlist when song changes

@ Netmax23: right now album tracks are sorted by title. I'll change that to file name so they will be played in same order as they are in the folder.
RispondiEliminaGreat the update fixes the problem but now when i go all tracks i only see a selected songs and when i press the album art to choose the songs, it revert back quickly and i have to keep on pressing the album art to look for the tracks. Great job

RispondiEliminaHi. Any possibility to get crisper images when syncing music to N9? No matter what image size is used, player (showing the album cover art) pixelates the image in use more worse than N9's own player.

@Jani: album arts in Player Page will be scaled better, thanks for reporting. Actually, album art size is 480x480 in portrait, using this size won't require any resize, but don't worry about it, resizing will be smooth in next version.
RispondiElimina@Giovanni. Thanks for the reply. Sigma Player is already the better choice to choose from, with it including an equalizer now that many of us may think why Nokia doesn't include one on their own player in the first place.

All of my tracks are in the same file folder but it is only when i go to all tracks then some of the songs will not show up :)

RispondiEliminaI am wondering if you're planning on developing a favourite or rating feature for the player. It would be nice to be able to filter out mediocre/ non favorited tracks from albums but still be able to keep them. Especially since the 64 gb storage makes it almost possible to keep the entire mp3 collection on the phone. THis eventual feature is a kind of dealcloser for me to buy the nokia n90! The native player seems to have this opportunity but lacks of course the all so necessary eq.

RispondiEliminaOne problem: when browsing by artist, it should then display a list of artist albums and not play all tracks immediately (that should be an option in the albums list, though). This is how all other players work.
And one request: could you add an option to automatically switch on the power save screen after configurable timeout?
@ villev: just because other players do that does not mean SigmaPlayer has to. Filtering by artist is implemented to find all tracks belonging to an artist right now.

Hi there! I have trouble. When I 1st time start sugma it's load well and shows me albums but after 2nd and so on running I it can't loading albums but tracks only.

RispondiEliminaExcuse me my bad English. When I ran Sigma for the very 1st time it's load well my album collection (I press on CD icon and I can see my albums). But for 2nd and so on of ranning Sigma when i choose album view I see nothing blank screen. But in other menu (track, artist) I can see it. Something like this. When I remove Sigma it's all again repeat. I use free version. I can't pay for it coz of I not sure in full satisfaction from product. And one more thing. Sigma rans too long, 3-5 seconds. It will be better if you can make fater ran. Thanks.

RispondiEliminaAlbums model on Nokia N9 is bugged, it gives me many problems, like ghost albums, albums not showing and so on. I have opened bug report about it but Nokia has ignored it (and dropped support for the N9 as well). On recent versions of Sigma Player Pro I have rewritten from scratch the albums model, it now requires more time since I have to parse tracks and can't use ready to access tracker model (which is bugged) but it works.
I don't understand why you have no problem after reinstalling SigmaPlayer, as settings data is not removed up deinstallation (it's just few bytes of data).
Sigma Player requires those seconds because is a complex application, made by several components which requires time to be loaded. Stock media player is loading faster because on N9 system applications are kept opened in ram even when closed, so they get launched faster.
I have dropped support for Sigma Player Free by now, amount of time I spent is so much more considered the low revenue from ads (I have not even reached the lowest revenue to get paid, after one year of publishing and over). If you wanna try SigmaPlayerPro you may send me by email your IMEI, so I can send you a 10 days trial version.
I'm really sorry but I cannot help you more, it's not something depending on me.
